About PDA
Professional Deaf Australians [PDA], as opposed to Deaf Professional Australians [DPA] is a social and business network, and advocacy group, that wants to tell the world all about Professional Deaf people who run businesses, build professional careers and make money!
Armed with a CAN DO ATTITUDE, Professional Deaf Australians have lots to offer, and we are out there showing the world just what we are made.
Still, it gets a little lonely for us Deafies, that we pine for the company of like minded souls, hence the formation of Professional Deaf Australians, PDA.
Not only to support Deaf people who run their own business, or who work as managers, executives and professionals across all industries and disciplines. But also, to organise drinks, dinners and other assorted festivities.
Raring to go, and chomping at the bit, PDA is a positive and dynamic network that encourages creativity and entrepreneurship. It is an organisation that provides mentorship and role models to Deaf people who are aspiring to run their own businesses, become entrepreneurs or forge a professional career.
A word of warning though, we are a rather friendly lot, so don’t be surprised to find that we extend our hospitality towards out hearing Brethren.
